These parties stay in the hotel

Once you check-in, you might never leave these new hotels offering a trove of restaurant and dining options to compete with the best in their cities. In New York, Viceroy has a hit on its hands with its posh NYC flagship (image shown) that’s home to an American brassiere by Landmarc-chef Marc Murphy. Even fancier is Michel Richard’s new helm inside the Villard Mansion at The New York Palace. Afterward, hit up new Tao Downtown (under the Maritime) or Paul Sevigny’s new lounge inside the Tribeca Grand Hotel " at least until that new concept club under the Paramount Hotel opens.

San Francisco’s Hotel Zetta is packed most nights with its Jennifer Puccio eatery called The Cavalier and Playroom bar with its own 30 ft. Plinko wall and Instagram’ing techies. The fireplace is already roaring inside Pavilion, that lofty lounge at Langham Chicago that benefits from its original Mies van der Rohe architecture. While everyone in LA talks of downtown, real-trendsetters are staking-out The Line Hotel by Sydell Group - the people behind NYC’s Nomad Hotel. The property opens December 11th and will likely do to LA’s Mid-Wilshire what the Ace did for NYC’s NoMad - complete with Korean gourmand and nightclub by LA’s Houston Brothers.

In London, Rosewood has completed its impressive renovation of the Chancery Court with a banker bar perfect to spend a rainy evening among Martin Brudnizki’s (Soho House Miami, Cecconi’s) livable glamour. Afterward, things are emerging from construction at ACE Shoreditch’s new lobby bar providing you’re sporting the right mustache and inside EDITION London’s Punch Room providing you have a reservation.
