From the creators of NY's Sixty Thompson, Thompson LES and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Belgraves London by Thompson Hotels brings America's hippest hotel brand behind NY's Sixty Thompson, Thompson LES and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to one of the British capital's poshest enclaves. The it-spot of the neighborhood, a façade that won't win any Pritzkers stoically conceals a destination lobby scene fueled by new HIX Belgravia restaurant by star-chef Mark Hix laden with showy décor and private art collection. In the hotel's mezzanine will be Mark's Bar, a remix of Hix's original basement bar in Soho, with smoking garden and cocktail menu by famous London mixologist Nick Strangeway and his contingent of bearded and tattooed friends and fans.
The Room
Room interiors have been designed by British designer Tara Bernerd, who’s usually unavailable to the public given her status as the it-decorator of The Crown Estate. Her first grand scale hotel project gives an aristocratic elegance to velvety settees with bold Union Flag embroidered pillows, beds tucked in SFERRA linens with stitched-leather headboards and wide-plank wood floors adorned in hide rugs. Veiny marble bathrooms with stall shower and soaking tubs offer treetop views in most room categories that prove why generational money and London elite has always preferred Belgravia.
