A true temple of modern Japanese gastronomy, Tetsuya's is accessed through silver gates that lead to a tranquil reception that's a respite from all that is frenetic and touristy in the nearby neighborhood. The main dining room overlooks a Zen-garden with minimalist, modern aesthetic that can tend towards the overly formal with a crowd that doesn't always include a Sydney local.
