restaurants

It’s become one of the most restaurant in all of Aisia, foremosly for it’s star chef and secondly for its Michelin award for 3-stars. While in Asia such awards are essentially meaningless to everyday locals, Western visitors stalk-out the reservations line like a pop-star dressing room hoping to score a prime reservation slot in the distinguished dining room. The interior restaurant of several private rooms is drawn in bronze colors and panels of rosewood with limestone floors and exposed wine cabinets or windows overlooking an interior courtyard. Tables are surrounded in comfy club chairs lined in Italian leather, with pristine white tablecloths and stemware double checked by staff for imperfections.

The Food

Inspired by the equally 3-star Michelin L'Astrance in Paris, where chef Shuzo Kishida had much of his training, a lunch and dinner menu of prix-fix specialties is derived from locally sourced ingredients and market fresh ingredients that change daily cooked on a cuisson fire that delivers slow-cooked dishes of meat, fish and pork dishes that change like clockwork. Flavors of coconut cream and pistachio oils are married with sweet jellies, coffer-infusions and rare fish and squid to create foodie delicacies unrivaled.
