Most visitors arrive for the bar, a sultry space of middle room bar surrounded in low lounge furnishings tossed to the max with silky pillows and flirty staff. During warmer weather an outside garden captures the season’s prettier nights divinely under a series of elevated lounges and pergola dining area ignited in candlelight. The main dining room is more modern than expected, a mix of Buddha Bar and Hotel Costes with a Moroccan accent amongst communal style tables and modern design palette with live music and belly dancing throughout the week.
The Food
A menu favored by Moroccan establishment begins with a mix of eastern-influenced appetizers like steamed prawn dumplings, veggie spring rolls and sashimi plate for those not opting for the foie gras combo or communal platter that comes with seafood tartars and crab. Main course is a bit more typical Moroccan with grilled lamb, lobster tanjine and vegetarian couscous well paired with the prawns in pistachio oil for meat eaters.
