The evolution of Capri Southampton has meant various culinary incarnations for its main dining room and poolside eatery. Over the past seasons it's hosted pop-up of BLT and Nobu, this year it gets a more permanent contenders with the East End installment of Oreya - a glam Med-dining room. Divided between a lounge bar, main dining room and reinvented pool terrace, diners find a simple style of bare tabletops and semi-circular banquettes under an illuminated rafter ceiling. The bar features long wood counter and additional dining area popular on summer Saturdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Food
A nightly dinner menu offers appetizers like corn-crusted fired oysters, parma with burrata, deviled eggs and whipped ricotta. Mains trace land and sea with herb-crusted rack of lamb, grilled halibut with risotto cake and duck breast with chimichurri butter.
