A familiar if somewhat touristy address in Sag Harbor has become the latest destination for NYC-restaurateur Le Bilbouquet eatery. The location sits perfectly above the Sag Harbor Long Wharf within a ho-hum dining room long inhabited by Harlow East. The idyllic location features a sprawling main room that opens to a long terrace and waterfront seating area invigorated by a stylish décor that will be familiar to anyone privy to his original Midtown eatery. A large bar offers late-afternoon scene with walk-in availability that defies the local tendency of month-prior weekend bookings.
The Food
A French seafood-minded menu includes ingredients from local farms, family fishermen and produce growers for an indigenous dining room that isn’t out of tune with Sag Harbor. With lunch and dinner served daily through summer, and long weekends thereafter, look for a fabulous raw bar with selections of Eastern and Western oysters, seasonal salads with local buratta or impressive selection of Crudo. Main course includes mix of mostly seafood and spare grilled meat options with that sensational Branzino and summertime specialties.
