From the owners of London’s Gaucho is a their latest Middle East installment located near the glitzy Ritz-Carlton within an indoor/outdoor dining space of businessmen and fashionistas. Its glamorous dining room is situated under a two-story ceiling with cream-colored stone floors and open kitchen concealed behind a partial wall of black parchment. The black and white color palate extends to dining chairs and walls trimmed in cow-print fabric with terrace lounge that’s one of the hottest in the city offering 20-ft. bar with rotating DJs, lively terrace and upstairs ceviche counter that’s suspended above the main floor restaurant.
The Food
Not just an Argentine steakhouse by which many people refer to it, Gaucho has a wide array of Latin and continental specialties that begins with a selection of salmon ceviche, octopus tiradito or pan-fired squid that are exceptional. Further menu fulfillment comes from a grilled provolone served with crusty bread, chorizo sausage or selection of empanadas.
