From the owners of Wild Fig and Brexi Brasserie comes Steak HOUSE No. 316. Located in the former-Lulu Wilson space in Apsen. A city that likes its meat, Aspen gets a stylish concept steakhouse with local management set within a dining room with pitched A-frame ceiling and walls accented in dark wood paneling and stacked granite detailing. A small front porch offers warmer season outdoor dining with interior space that includes an elongated bar with sleek marble top ideal for solo diners or those looking to strike-up mid-martini conversation.
The Food
A dressy staff in collared shirted with tie and vest leads a playful dinner service that begins with a signature raw bar and top-of-the-line Grand Plateau available for up to four guests. Additional standout appetizers include a tuna tartare, lobster bisque and grilled artichoke with lemon aioli. A ‘Wedge’ and “Knife and Fork Caesar’ offer chunkier versions of classic starter salads large enough for sharing. Main course is divided by land and sea with ‘fish and fowl’ section of the menu serving-up a great pan-seared Artic char and classic roasted chicken with herb jus. Steaks, however, are paramount here with Kobe flat iron, Prime Cowboy ribeye and porterhouse available with innumerous sides like a 6 oz. lobster tail or truffle potato au gratin
