Long recognized as Cannes's most glittery nightclub, La Baoli debuted a follow-up beach club along the Croisette between the Carlton and The Majestic Hotels. Boasting the biggest pier on the strip as well as one of the best styled outside of Plage Z at Hotel Martinez, the space features an all-day destination for Rose-fueled lunches and uncorked weekends. A color palette of pure white furnishings and cream-colored umbrellas enwrap a mostly outdoor beach area and semi-covered dining room arranged on the sand with white loungers and upgraded pier location for all-day sun and Rose sessions.
The Food
Tending the crowd is a playful staff of cabana boys and girls dressed in all-white manning the front cashier and explaining to unknowing Americans that you actually have to pay to lay on the beach - and a bit more if you want the pier. In addition to ample champagnes and wine vintages, Baoli offers a selection of all-day food presentations as simple as smoked salmon or tuna sashimi to more elaborate beef and chicken dishes as well as a pretty great seafood linguine. If arriving outside of July and August high season, try to schedule a weekend visit for the best crowds and sounds.
