Jen Aniston is a regular to the chain and its outposts in London and LA are a right of passage for Hollywood heavyweights. This Globetrotting sushi franchise finds is devote following among fashionable Millennials at this frill-free dining room and fish bar within the Hard Rock Hotel. A weekend reservation is best booked 2-weeks in advance, and persistence is a must unless you willing to dine at 10:45pm.

The original Nobu Las Vegas has a longtime following at the Hard Rock Hotel with simple Japanese-inspired dining room with jade-tiled sushi bar, mosaic rock wall and oversized bonsai trees. A sushi-savvy clientele orders platters of sashimi and daily dishes cooked-up for the top chefs without wavering at the mouth-dropping prices.

The Food

At its best its ingenious sushi and Japanese cuisine derived from premium seafood ingredients hand-selected by personally trained Nobu chefs. Whether in LA or London, the crowd is always an assemblage of the pretty and rich who know no better Atkin’s feast than a sashimi-laden meal at Nobu. Opened in summer 2004, the restaurant duplicates the local izakayas found throughout Japan with a sexy swagger that’s authentically Vegas. The menu mixes traditional fish-finds like Hamachi and Toro sashimi or sushi with less-traditional Japanese items like duck breast with wasabi salsa and Kobe beef served to perfection.

Last Word

Sadly, there are a number of annoying first-time sushi eaters from the nether-regions of mid-America who howl and hiss their way through eel and California rolls.
