Every few years this West Hollywood space, most recently known at Mercado, returns to the limelight in varying degrees of restaurant or bar. This time it’s Doheny Room, a stylish lounge bar and late-night scene hidden within a newly revamped space near Dan Tana’s. A glassy façade yields new first floor bar wrapped in whimsical shutters that brings a bit more charm to the once overly marbled and glass space. A two-story gallery leads to an additional upstairs bar and lounge reimagined with deco-meets-bohemia décor currently attracting West Hollywood’s always-trying 1am crowd.
Tips
On weekends, there's a line outside even if it's not crowded within. If in doubt about entry, make a late dinner reservation or work the door with cash discretely in hand.

Owned by SBE, the people behind such commercial hits as Hyde and SLS, expect a formidable menu and polished-yet-chilly staff typical of the brand.
