Hakkasan is hardly a new name, established in London with affiliate locations in Dubai and New York offering a glittery brand with celeb following. Now, the London-based collection comes to MGM-Grand in Las Vegas to create a destination dining room with affiliate VIP club operated by AMG (owners of Pure, LAX) that's attracting the biggest DJs in the music business including Calvin Harris, Bob Sinclair and Tiesto. The space is one of the largest you'll find anywhere in Vegas sprawling across five full levels. The strip-facing flagship with full MGM-real estate frontage incorporates a gourmet eatery helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Ho Chee Boon as well as main dance club with outlying wing of VIP booths facing an elevated platform with DJ ensconced in LCD light show. The crowd is a dressier collection of sophisticated revelers that often combine a night of dancing with one of the best dinners in Vegas.
