It's become the latest Vegas obsession and if you don't have one you're hotel will likely miss-out on the hot summertime crowds that sweep into the desert looking for a St. Tropez style beach scene. They're called ultra-pools or pool clubs, a water based nightclub that operates by day and offers ripped dudes who show-off their abs and desert beach babes in tinny-weenie bikinis. Until Encore Beach Club, all Wynn had was a Euro-style pool next to the main family resort deck that had way to much shade and not enough single, sexy bodies.
Through a private pedestrian valet off the main Wynn motor court, visitors arrive to a stray frilly entrance of cabana-theme architecture concealing essentially strip-center architecture with gold bedazzled sign. A massive circular three-tiered pool area is arranged in circular white loungers and tanning ledge leading to a deeper middle area open to the public. Surrounding the main courtyard area series of 26 cabanas offering their own peek-a-boo pools with glass walls to show-off assets to anyone not in their circle of VIP friends.
