Just off the mass nightclub chaos of Granville, the owners of Republic and Bar None debut a new pop-theme dance club and concept VIP lounge. Geared as the pop-star franchise in its nightclub empire, the space is a moody neon-lit dream of disco balls, white leather and endless pop remixes by Jay-Z and Rihanna. The main club space is divided into three separate sections of circular settees with sunken lounge area of white-vinyl sofas and separate boutique bar. A smaller adjacent Room 2 is surrounded in oversize subway tile with illuminated portholes and groovy Cocoon-theme chandelier above another white VIP sectional. The dance floor is a clean and cubist space of rectangular mirrors and suspended disco balls privy to random acts of dance brilliance and even the occasional brave Vogue-er.
Tips
