The Scene:
In a hard to figure-out 1930s strip center, LA-nightlife czar Sam Nazarian debuts a Brit-style drinking bar and lounge behind a minimalist stone storefront and single-wooden door along Sunset Boulevard. Cozier and far smaller you than you would expect of a hotspot, the first-floor lounge features leather and crocodile-trimmed upholstery with oversized Monkeywood tables under a pounded-copper ceiling shimmering in candles suspended from iridescent walls. The bar features a small plate menu of fusion dishes, ranging from Japanese finger-foods to sushi, created by Katsuya Uechi.
JetSet Tips:
Expect a crowd and heavy door-security, since opening in mid-2006 Hyde has become the it-club of LA’s starlet-set including Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Last Word:
A simple lounge with DJ booth, dressed-up with Mac-mixing machine and heavy tech-equipment, features rotating deejays from 10pm with an emphasis on rock. If the doorman says he’s at capacity, he probably isn’t lying since the club only accommodates around 100-guests.

HYDE LOUNGE IS THE WORST PLACE IN HOLLYWOOD! TRUST ME! DO NOT GO THERE!
If you like to be treated like dirt and literally pushed and brushed off by waitors (mostly the one whos first name begins with an M), treated like criminals by the security guard at the back by being physically intimiated, yelled at in high volume, and CUSSED at, and then be called a LIAR and be dismissed by the manager..although you did NOTHING WRONG, then PLEASE GO TO HYDE LOUNGE!
Even if everything was the customers fault, as a manager and someone who works in customer service, the proper thing for him to say would be, "I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad night. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Heck, I bet even McDonalds would say that! G..., the KIND big black security guard in the FRONT, said that after the incident and HE SEEMED to be the one with the right mind. It is common courtesy and respect for the customers. He even said for himself that customers should always be treated with respect!!!!!!!
But NOOOOO, the manager insists that the customers (even the loyal, high paying ones) are the ones at wrong and that since he has known some of the employees there "for a long time," they would "NEVER" be the sort of people to do anything to upset the customers! WTF! This dude has the brain of a f*cking BIRD. Does he want this place to be SHUT DOWN or what? He did not even witness anything that went down so who is he to take the employees side???????? I really need to discuss this with the owner.
He seemed to be high on something because when I talked to him, I felt as if I was arguing with a snobby spoiled elementary kid. F*cking PRICK! WHO DOES HE THINK KEEPS THE BUSINESS STILL RUNNING? THE EMPLOYEES? Why does he ARGUE with the customers?? He and mostly everyone there need to get off their f*cking high horse.
Moreover, there is this OLD UGLY woman sitting on a chair at the front entrance with long BLACK hair. I witnessed her eavesdropping on customers conversations and bringing about provocation by taking sides and then putting words in one of the customers mouth! Then she flings her hair aside and looks the other way. She looks like she could be a streetwalker! Why the fuck was she hired?
The bartenders are rude and all they care about is the money. They literally only look for and at the money than at the customers.
If you want to waste money to be treated like crap and pay to stand/sit around and feel empty inside to say the least, then hyde lounge is FOR YOU! People there are really pretentious and INSECURE of themselves to mingle with others. THIS PLACE IS LOW CLASS AND DESERVES AN F!
