Nobody does Saint-Tropez like JetSetReport

It's July and in St. Tropez that means evening Lamborghini rush hour and a port that's stern-to-stern in super yachts and cafes overflowing to the sound Rosé corks popping to Kygo remixes. For those that booked months ago, Byblos remains our only St. Tropez address with its afternoon terrace scene of brother quartets piping Smooth Operator, Alain Ducasse eatery Rivea in its second year and its 1am no-wait policy for in-house guests at Les Caves du Roy that's still the best disco in France even after five decades. St. Tropez House offers some of our favorite villa rentals near Pampelonne Beach with selection of last-minute deals on offer still for July and August booking.

In terms of dining, La Vague d' Or maintains its perch at the top of the local dining scene with dueling tasting menus and 3-star Michelin crown inside Residence de la Pinede. The dining room at Villa Belrose brought home its own 1-star Michelin award this year with one of the best ala carte dinner menus in town. Cristina Saulini maintains the hippest and tastiest Italian eatery in the village, even if newer Rivea or old-school La Villa Romana get more fanfare. New this year is Hoa that comes to the dining room of La Tartane Hotel, it's from the owners of Bagatelle Beach and offers an Asian-fusion supper club with late-night DJs.

In terms of dining along Pampelonne Beach, Le 55 reigns supreme with Les Palmiers and Pearl Beach luring more of a local foodie scene at the beach. New this year is Riva Beach, an all-new dining room and beach club with a posh, Riviera attitude curated by the chef behind Baoli in Cannes. In town, last year's cool kid L'Opera is just as hot for 2015 with a new terrace lounge debuting next week in the former Papagayo space nearby. As for nightlife, Les Caves du Roy gets some heftier completion from Jean-Roch this year as VIP Room shows off a new look and event line-up that's the best of St. Tropez summer.
