Four Seasons debuts exclusive jet-service

April 23, 2014 05.20 PM

For those that bemoan flying commercial, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has launched a new exclusive jet service that presents a hybrid private flying option for those looking for 5-star service at 35,000-feet. With corporate branded fuselage and pre-set itineraries that allow travellers to connect Four Seasons locations with one itinerary, the new jet service offers the convenience of a packaged vacation with the service aesthetic of a Four Seasons resort. With travel available starting in February 2015, we took a closer look at the mock-ups of the Four Seasons Jet to see what’s in-store for travelers. The most recent updates maintain plane interiors, food presentations and staff all designed by the Four Seasons staff. The most obvious shortcoming, in our eyes, was the retrofitted Boeing 757 that can make for a less than cushy and somewhat loud journey with limitations of nonstop flying distances but a plus when considering its smaller size ideal for short jaunts and landings at smaller regional airports. A stylist 2X2 cabin configuration offers wood-trimmed seats in white leather handcrafted in Italy, on par with Business-class offerings on intercontinental flights " but nowhere near First Class on Emirates or even American. Itineraries that include round-the-world travel offer those that like the one-stop organization of a cruise with a more adventurous way of traveling that’s just as convenient.
