Located towards the beach clubs of Pampelonne beach in Ramatuelle, a gated entry hidden inside a lush landscape of beach vegetation leads to this former-mill house that's been exquisitely re-conceived into a villa-style luxury hotel. Visitors arrive to a stunning reception composed of muted beige and white colors surrounded in raw stone elements with views of the surrounding gardens designed by Sophie Agata Ambroise. M Restaurant, helmed by Nicolas Le Toumelin, is the main eatery of Muse with a menu inspired by land and sea from an indoor-outdoor dining room of white club chairs, Bombay-inspired crowned wingbacks and adjacent bar with easy access to the pool. And what a pool it is, surrounded in architectural awning with lounge area and rows of partially submerged sun chairs on a tanning ledge prone to Hollywood bodies in the latest Chanel and Moncler swimwear. In-house spa, Muse Care, is located on an environmental outdoor garden with own rain water supply to enjoy from womb-shape soaking tubs and glass-enclosed treatment rooms. 

The Room:

A total of just 15 suites are divided into playful names of various cinema stars like the Audrey, Grace and Catherine where each would probably feel right at home given the spot-on design choices and top-notch interior design. Most of the rooms come with their own private pools, but not the Superior Category named Audrey only with its own private balcony close to the main swimming pool. Audrey is visually harmonized with colors of cream and white defining a sophisticated sleeping space with wall-mounted plasma TV, fabric-strewn walls and wood-paneled room divider leading to the spa-style bathroom with oversize shower. Larger Executive and Luxe Suites are outfitted with separate living and sleeping areas like a private villa with private furnished gardens and plune pools overlooking the rooftops of Ramatuelle. The largest rooms, named Romy and Grace, are the Muse Suites with duple-style layout for private garden, massage room and outdoor showers that are the best vila alternative you’ll find in St. Tropez.
