Once the allure of Medina dining has come to pass, Gueliz is home to one of our favorite eateries that is part wine bar and part epicurean secret. Le Studio offers a bistro charm with red leather club chairs and wall lined in 1950s European matinee stars. A chalkboard menu displays daily specials with glimpses of the chef in action through a long counter bar and peekaboo kitchen.
The Food
A terrific wine-by-the-glass menu leads to an even better dining menu with homemade foie gras terrine, escargot, salmon tartare and perfectly cooked mussels. Mains include Châteaubriant, langostine fricassee and roast chicken followed by presentation of homemade desserts.
