Located on the ground floor of the boutique Ovolo Hotel in Woolloomooloo, Alibi indulges a vegan-themed take on the upscale cocktail bar craze. The space is modern and roomy, with a spread of several tables and a long bar that looks into the open kitchen. The property attracts an upscale crowd of fun seekers and cocktail enthusiasts. The signature cocktails at Alibi are what wows the crowd. Example one: The Mr. Miyagi is delivered in a tea kettle and is an infusion of Grey Goose vodka, Buddha's Tears tea, blue curacao and aloe vera, served piping hot. Example two: The Harvest arrives in a tall goblet, emitting lime and apple scented "smoke." It's a vermouth drink with vodka, a pinot grigio reduction with cinnamon, star anise and clove and a frozen baked apple "ice cube" at the bottom. That's just a hint of the amazing creativity and top shelf ingredients at hand.

The food is also all vegan suitable, with the same level of creativity and exquisite flair as the cocktail menu. Enjoy spicy udon noodles, several pizzas, green herb tacos and a variety of finger foods that offer a lighter, healthier alternative than what you'll suffer from the usual bar food offerings. The menu is full service, come for lunch or dinner and sample the tasty dishes.
