Divided between an outdoor bar, small dining room and 15X32 foot swimming pool, the 7th floor rooftop pool terrace is a sexy playground that begins the day with early summer breakfasts and ends with late-night diners overlooking the West Village and Hudson River. In between the rooftop pool attracts a posh crowd of locals and London pond-hoppers who still indulge in sunbathing are privy to long, gossipy poolside afternoons at a scene made famous by the ladies of Sex and the City. The Room
A total of just 24 rooms come in categories like Playpen, Playhouse and Playground that offer members of the ubiquitous club a 24-hour address while traveling or simply partying in full Soho House privacy. Smaller Playpen rooms are cocooned inside exposed brick walls and wood-beam ceilings amongst a quirky décor of banana-leaf print sofa, laminate white side tables and oscillating metal fan that eludes to very hot summer nights. Larger rooms come with more impressive design like a 7-ft. white rococo or draped canopy bed fit for Marie Antoinette’s and bathroom with egg-shape bathtub with 6-ft. mirror ideal for nudie narcissists.
