Located in a former factory and later warehouse space in SF's Financial District, The Battery is a unique member's club/hotel concept aimed at the upper echelons to have a place for "inspiration and interaction." Visitors expecting a local-spin on the Soho House concept find a uniquely local spin on the modern membership club with interiors that mixes native industrial architecture with stylishly bohemian design by Ken Fulk.
The Room
The five-story compound is home to a formal restaurant by Chef Jason Arbusto, lux spa with gym, four bars including one that's member's only and 14-room hotel that's immediately one of our favorites in the city. Non-members are offered standard hotel rates and access to all club floors excluding a lounge bar that's for members only - and sometimes even that is accessible.
