One of Mallorca's lesser known luxury palaces, Mardavall Mallorca Resort is a St. Regis branded property since 2008 that lies along a stunning bay just to the north of the action of Magaluf south of the capital. A façade of arched balconies and stout balusters gives the resort a sprawling Mediterranean swagger that leads to an impressive lobby designed by Claudio Carbone with its airy architecture, muted marble details and dramatic atrium that rises along the midline of the structure. Its waterfront location makes for convenient access for yachters looking to use the hotel's affiliated golf academy, massive day spa or Michelin-star eatery Es Fum by chef Thomas Kahl that's truly a standout of the area with its seasonal gastronomic menu. Those indulging in longer stays at the hotel find an impressive pool scene that's a hop from a swim inlet and jetty as well as a comprehensive diet and health program that's one of he most comprehensive of its kind on Mallorca.

A massive luxury resort with a centralized layout means most all guest room are easily accessible to the main attractions of the lobby and resort grounds. Entry-level rooms include single accommodations that run around 30% less than double rooms with a simple layout, honey and white color scheme and marble bathrooms that feel very much the international luxury chain. Grand Deluxe room are far more impressive with rooms detailed in Hermes orange walls, billowing swags of white fabric that separate living and sleeping area as well as well defined entry areas covered in rich wood paneling.
