Boutique Hotel
Only a handful of hotels in the Napa Valley offer the pedigree of a Yountville address that's shared with epic eateries like Thomas Keller's French Laundry. Designed by Napa architect Robert Keenan, Hotel Yountville is drawn from a creekside setting in the backdrop of such famous vineyards as Stag's Leap Winery offering a discerning design hotel with price-tag that's on average about half that of area resorts like Calistoga Ranch and Auberge Soleil. Visitors arrive to a grand lobby under pitched-rafter ceiling with rod iron chandeliers and fireplace adorned in stone brickwork. Furnishings of exquisite detailing in colors of powder and gray feature chunky artwork and intimate touches like driftwood side tables from designer Lisa Holt. Following a full revamp and addition of four guest wings in late-2010 and new spa, the hotel is now home to a farm-to-table eatery Hopper Creek Kitchen with additional outdoor dining terrace under a 100-year old oak tree and on-site Y Bar cocktail lounge with patio and fireplace.

Premium rooms and junior suites offer more details like outdoor patios or terrace as well as wood floors that bring-up the design level in higher-category rooms. Bathrooms offer separate rain sowers and deep-soaking tubs with marble stone floors and wall-mounted LCD TVs in select rooms.
