Luxury Boutique
An idyllic village location home to one of Aspen's oldest properties, Hotel Jerome and its red brick façade has been a fixture of the local hospitality scene for nearly a century. Today it's been reconceived to its most luxurious incarnation to date with an interior overhaul led by Todd-Avery Lenahan that results in a layered-look of old world glamour of tufted sofas and more modern decor elements. Dark wood-paneling is juxtaposed to glossy white fireplace mantles and Corbousier-inspired club chairs in a main lounge that connects to new J Bar with its contemporary artwork and gilded aristocratic detailing. Living Room lobby lounge offers an all-day scene of locals and hotel guests enjoying a small-plate menu in addition to new Prospect dining room with regional menu by 20-year Jerome veteran Rob Zack. Further hotel amenities include a small spa with steam room and sauna facilities as well as a fitness room with cardio and free weights.
The Room
Entry-level rooms are well sized at over 500-sqaure feet with sophisticated palette of creamy taupe and chocolate browns with geometrical wool carpets and tailored drapery. Accents of African-inspired upholstery and antique details lend an old world charm that’s conducive to the hotel’s history. All rooms feature stylish wet bars and large marble bathrooms with larger junior suites featuring small lounge area and suites with spaces ideal for grander entertaining.
