It’s a fitting marriage, namely the impressive Mandarin Oriental Marrakech and Hakkasan spin-off brand Ling Ling that makes its debut at the posh desert resort. The first sequel of the Mykonos summer-born brand owned by Hakkasan Group, Ling Ling is inspired by the Japanese Izakaya with innovative cocktails, small plates menu and hipster DJ soundtrack that’s equal parts bar and supper club. For its Marrakech location, Ling Ling overlooks the serene pools of the resort dotted in olive groves with décor by Parisian design firm Gilles & Boissier " who also penned much of the hotel. While not as charming as the Mykonos original, Ling Ling Marrakech is a welcome addition to the area’s sometimes-sleepy 12am bar scene.
Part dining room and part 1am dance scene, an additional outdoor terrace and lounge is also open all year for dinner.
Inspired by the izakaya concept in Japan, Hakkasan debuts boutique supper club concept at posh Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.
