If you’re familiar with the modern London food movement, Jason Atherton is a familiar name of some of the city’s top eateries. Now, his empire expands to Hong Kong at none other than the trendiest new art-cum-shopping destination known as PMQ. Located along a garden entrance on its ground floor, Aberdeen Street Social is a two-story townhouse-style brasserie with main floor lounge offering all-day dining and popular cocktail scene. Upstairs, the formal dining room features lunch and dinner hours with lively crowd and top-notch cuisine.

The Food

With an all-day bar menu of British snacking and dessert specialties, the main dining room offers more of a formal culinary experience of slow-cooked hen’s egg with black pudding, steak tartare with pickled onion and Hokkaido scallops with dashi jelly that meld Hong Kong flavors and traditional British gastronomy. Main course elaborates with pork chop on pumpkin and orange purée, lamb rump with confit neck and sensational Wagyu beef ribeye to share with chips and salad.
