Two separate elevators leads to the 16th floor entrance of Moscow hotspot White Rabbit and a truly marvelous dining space located within a semi-circular rooftop conservatory atop Smolensky Passazh. Whether it’s due to winters in Courchevel or summers in the South of France, Russian design has come a long way with heavily influenced Anglo-French styles that mixes elements of Louis XIV and modern London  design throughout. Antique wooden tables are juxtaposed with 19th Century settees and more modern upholstered pieces on herringbone hardwood floors that lend an old money feel to the glassy architectural glamour of the space.

The Food

All-day and all-night dining begins with a well-assorted raw bar with North Sea specialties followed by cold appetizers like Blue Fin sashimi, beef tartare and terrine of rabbit with hazelnuts. Model-favored salads include heirloom tomato, Caesar with chicken breast or innovative scallop salad with truffle oil. Mains include classic grilled octopus, stuffed squid or smoked salmon on spinach as well as grill specialties including Wagyu steak, veal flown in from Italy’s Piedmont region and New Zealand rack of lamb with accompaniments like truffle ravioli or spaghetti with tiger prawns and asparagus.

Last Word

A series of interconnecting dining rooms and lounges give numerous VIP seating options ideal for those looking for as much or as little people-watching attention as desired.
