  • The Scene:

It's our favorite restaurant in Miami, tucked along a quiet South Beach street where mature shade trees envelop a terrace and restaurant with upper-level member's club. Owned by Mickey Grendene, Casa Tua brings its exclusive member's club and open-to-the-public eatery to the former-home of Ruth's Chris and Guido's eatery. The two-story space is accessed through a rear entrance and into a series of interconnecting dining rooms that spins a Dolomite-meets-Alpine style with rotating art and photography installations on walls. The first floor dining room and the area immediately around the front bar is the most preferable to sit, offering the best people watching and crowds from off-season to New Year's Day madness.

  • The Food:

A hearty menu liaised by chef Sergio Sigalai inspired by the Miami original features an Italian menu of steak tartare with nest of fresh farm egg, tuna tartare with dollop of caviar, homemade burata with tomatoes and traditional eggplant parmigiana. Decadent, homemade pastas include Farro risotto with Maine Lobster or white truffles, tagliatelle with bacon and black truffles and a Tagliolini topped with caviar and crème fraiche. Main course usually arrives with an already satiated appetite with grilled Wagyu steaks, veal tenderloin with zucchini gratin and popular whole Branzino deboned tableside.

The Aspen spin-off of Miami's most famous celeb eatery offers restaurant and membership lounge for the glitterati ski set that's one of the top reservations in town.
