  • Its location is easily missed, on an oceanside bluff overlooking Agios Stefanos, opposite the deep water harbor 5-minutes north of the main village. A traditional white-stone façade rises above a single-lane street interrupted by a small courtyard area leading to the main lobby.  Simple one-room reception area is surrounded by ocean-theme graphic art, opposite a narrow hallway connecting an all-white lounge/internet area and in-house spa facilities. The hotel is constructed vertically, interconnected by two three-person elevators and a series of picturesque stairways that open-up to panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.

Colors of the ocean are translated into the hotel with washed-gray awnings varying between shades of blue and green. A game lounge with Playstation and oversize plasma TV overlooks the pool area, directly above a one-room fitness center with treadmill, Precor elliptical machine and free weights area. A lavish pool deck features an all-white design with modernist loungers opposite an open-air restaurant and bar. Serving upscale Greek cuisine with an emphasis on seafood, the restaurant also hosts the complimentary morning breakfast available till 11:30am that should not be missed.

  • The Room:

While not an unwalkable distance to the main town, guests should make arrangements for their own transportation even given the generous service of an in-house shuttle van. Guest rooms are spread-out over a 4-story structure ranging from compact standard rooms to roomier deluxe suites with private balconies and whirlpool tubs. Sleek wooden doors open to white-painted walls with stone floors and whitewash ceilings. Oversize graphic art depicting beach and water scenes hang above king-size beds, tucked with quilted duvets and ultra-soft linens and pillows. It’s by far the best bed in Mykonos. Most guest room feel a bit on the small size, with compact desk areas connected to cruise-ship size closets with barely any living space to tuck oversize objects like suitcases or even a large duffle bag. Marble bathrooms feature glass windows with retractable shades overlooking bedrooms, with painted-concrete walls, basin sink and rain showers. A wide selection of Korres toiletries includes Body Milk, apple-cinnamon body wash and delicious citrus shampoo. Most upgraded rooms offer expansive balcony areas with queen-size loungers and freestanding whirlpools in glossy cobalt-blue tile.
