Majestically situated in a Napoleon III-style palace overlooking the Mediterranean, a grassy porte-cochere is lined in sculpted topiaries and solitary stone staircase leading to a creamy white lobby of shiny marble floors and columns upholding plastered ceiling above white and Tiffany blue furnishings that look like the waiting room to heaven. Multi-week and shorter summer stays are enjoyed by past guest list of celebrities that looks like an Oscar roll with Madonna, Angelina and Donatella one-upped by names like Sinatra, Picasso and Chagall.
Hotel du Cap offers three unique dining experience starting with the most opulent inside the main hotel structure at The Eden-Roc Restaurant. A virtual country club of nearby residents and in-house CEOs that use the eatery as their summertime boardroom, opulent service is matched with meticulous tasting menus heavy of the French formality. More causal and better located, Eden-Roc Grill and Lounge Bar is located along the sea on the rocks with more casual summertime scene overlooking arriving yachts and poolside show-offs.

The Room:
Stays at Hotel du Cap include 30-Euro belinis at the signature hotel bar or more lavish $1000 meals at the hotel’s Eden-Roc restaurant along the seafront swimming pool that’s literally dugout of the rocks with adjacent boat mooring for James Bond-style getaways. High rollers will want one of the villas that surround the main property, with private entrance and security detail, best of which is the Villa Eleeana with its own private lap pool. An entry-level guest room in summer will set you back upwards of $1000-per night with unlimited access to the seaside and pool amenities as well as bragging rights that last a lifetime.
